Estate Argyros Among the Top 50 Wine Producers Worldwide & Winner of the Old Vine Producer Trophy at IWSC 2025

Santorini, Greece — Estate Argyros is honored to announce two significant international distinctions awarded by the prestigious IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition). The winery has received the IWSC 2025 Old Vine Producer Trophy, recognizing the exceptional quality and global uniqueness of its historic “old vine” vineyards rooted in the volcanic terroir of Santorini.

In addition, Estate Argyros has been included for the first time in the IWSC Top 50 Wine Producers worldwide. This new initiative highlights wineries that have demonstrated consistent excellence and notable achievements over the past three years of participation in the competition.

This distinction carries even greater importance considering that the list was compiled from 2,268 wine producers across 50 countries, underscoring the global scale and competitive nature of the IWSC.

The IWSC judging panel — consisting of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, and leading buyers in the international trade — recognized the winery’s long-standing dedication and distinctive identity in winemaking.
