The Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes on the same property since 1853 near the village of Greenock. From seven generations of Barossa viticulturists, Troy and Tony Kalleske have formed their eponymous wine brand.
Kalleske wines are certified organic and biodynamic, estate grown and vinified with traditional minimalist winemaking techniques used to fully capture the essence of the vineyard allowing genuine handmade estate wines to be produced.

Parallax: Parallax is when an object appears to change its position because the person or instrument perceiving it has changed their position.
Parallax Grenache… the object is the same, Grenache… but the winery perceiving it has changed their position… hence the emergence of a neoteric expression of this classic old vine Barossa varietal.
2023 Parallax is luminous cherry-red in colour. Aromatically it is bright and fresh. Super-inviting notes of flower garden, crushed raspberry, white pepper spice, strawberry, red liquorice and thyme. These lively characters continue to the light and bright palate. Superbly juicy, oozing with crunchy fresh red fruits. Cherry, strawberry and a touch of herb. Naturally chalky tannins give structure. A stalky edge is evident giving frame to the vibrant fruits. Whilst light and lively throughout, the depth and interest of flavour makes for a compelling wine, completed with a long finish.

Zeitgeist is a cross section of multiple Shiraz blocks of the Kalleske family vineyard, ensuring a solid representation of the true character of the vintage.
2023 Zeitgeist Shiraz is deep inky purple in colour. It has vivid aromatics of fresh ripe grapes, plum jam, clove spice, raisins, violets, and liquorice. It’s bright, primal, and attractive with intense dark fruits. These black and blue fruits, including blackcurrant, plum and blueberry, are in full force on the richly flavoured full-bodied palate. There is also pepper and spice, accurately reflecting the vintage. Tannins are lightly grippy adding to the pleasant structure and continuing to give a long dry finish. With its lashings of fruit and radiant purity, Zeitgeist is best enjoyed now.
